How it all started

Biolumnis (previously known as PharmSupport) was established in 2011 by Jan Damm, Boudewijn de Jong, and Gert Beuving, driven by a shared vision to elevate Quality Management within hospital pharmacies. The concept took shape in 2010 during an insightful brainstorming session focused on addressing the gaps in quality practices. Recognizing a critical need for higher standards in hospital pharmacies, the founders began organizing conferences, which quickly highlighted the strong demand for such specialized knowledge. Since then, Biolumnis (previously known as PharmSupport) has been dedicated to contributing to a healthy world.

Where we stand today

Biolumnis is now under the dynamic leadership of Layla Alizadah and Jan van Ooij. They represent the perfect balance of Yin and Yang, each contributing distinct yet complementary strengths to the company. United by a shared commitment and supported by the outstanding Biolumnis team, they hold the essential elements that ensure Biolumnis remains true to its mission and vision.
